Explore Vermont history in a series of workshops during select school vacation days. Each session includes a visit to the exhibit, Freedom & Unity: One Ideal, Many Stories, and a related activity.

Learn about Vermont's original inhabitants, the Abenaki, and explore an Abenaki wigwam.

Friday, October 22 - Vermont's Original Inhabitants (pre-1700)

This program takes place during select school vacation days, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., at the Vermont History Museum. (Pavilion Building, 109 State Street, Montpelier) It is recommended for children ages 6-12. The cost is $5 per student, $3 for museum members, and 3 or more children per family pay member rate.
