UVM SIGNATURE EVENT: Native & Indigenous Heritage Month
In honor of Native American Heritage Month the Echo Center and local Abenaki bands in Vermont are partnering to host an Abenaki Gathering at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center. There will be demonstrations of the Abenaki Arts, music and screenings of the films “1609: The Otherside of History” by Fred Wiseman and “Speaking To The Ancestors” by young Abenaki Filmaker Lina Longtoe Schulmeisters.
