Obama appoints Standing Rock Sioux citizen to post
Jodi Archambault Gillette, a member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, was named by the Obama administration as deputy associate director in its intergovernmental affairs office. (Courtesy photo)Jody Gillette was selected last Friday to be the deputy associate director of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, where she will help oversee tribal, local and state relationships with the federal government. Gillette is the director of the Native American Training Institute.
