Missisquoi Tree Planting

I attended a tree planting day on Saturday, April 25th with the Missisquoi River Basin Association up in Highgate, VT. A group of about 20 volunteers planted 570 trees on a beautiful spring day. 270 White Cedar trees were planted and 300 willow stakes were driven in the the banks of the stream to help improve the floodplain of the creek. ~Bridget Butler, Voices For the Lake Manager
